Surfite

Surfite is a waste material from the manufacture of surfboards. When a surfboard is created it has a layer of resin poured over the board to seal it. Some of this resin flows off the board and is collected. Repurposing this material can reduce over 90% of the waste associated with this process. 

My Recycled Collection incorporates this material into my individual pieces. The Surfite used comes from either California or Cornwall.

Hand wrapped in copper wire and oxidised to create an antique patina. 

Supplied on a 20 inch copper chain, in a gift box with a complimentary polishing cloth and an information card about your chosen stone.
