Fordite is a waste material from the automotive industry. Layers of baked enamel paints builds up into blocks creating amazing colourful patterns, which then can be cut and shaped.
As part of my Recycled Collection I have incorporated these into my individual jewellery pieces and have prevented them from going into landfill.

Hand wrapped in copper wire and oxidised to create an antique patina.
